My wife, Bethany, and I co-own and operate You Counseling and are both licensed clinical social workers.  My hobbies include being a sports dad, playing soccer, piano, and trying to figure out which house project I should (or shouldn’t!) tackle next.

I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2007. The foundations of my clinical training and focuses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Behavioral Therapy for ADHD, and motivational enhancement strategies for sobriety.
